How long will it take for my electricity to be connected after I have signed up?
Once you have completed the sign up process, it can take up to 10 business days for your account to be activated. Your electricity will not be switched off in the process. You will receive an email once your account is active.
Do I need to contact my old provider and tell them I have switched?

How do I know if my property has a smart meter?
You can check whether your property has a smart meter with active communication by completing your details and address here.
What is a smart meter?
To join our Lifestyle Plan, you must have a smart meter with active communication at your property. A smart meter records the amount of electricity you use and sends the readings to your electricity retailer daily, which means there is no need for a meter reader to visit your property and record the amount of electricity you have used.
